Howdy I received the parts, new struts and a lock mechanism
Easy to replace. I’m pretty certain my packasport is the first edition kind I bought it second hand at garage sale…
It’s absolutely mint (brilliant) with new fittings now.
Obviously the quality of product is exceptional
I couldn’t believe the treasure in this man’s trash.

Package came quickly in good order. My only comment would be, that Packasport should supply some instructions on installation. Can reuse the existing rivet, which seems too short and should the rivet be sealed wth silicone, as the existing thimble had split into 3 pieces.
